It's Saturday, ya'll, so it's time for me to tell you where to go! On the internet, silly.
You all know that I love thrift store shopping, and with garage sale and flea market season coming SOON (a girl can dream, can't she?), I've started a rigorous training schedule to make sure I'm in shape.
This week I found some fabulous posts to help in my quest.
Joys of Home writes about using "networking" to find a specific item that you're looking for. Like, you know, you go to one sale, and send your friends to another with a description of what you want them to buy for you should they find it.
Suddenly Frugal Blog has a post on Thrift Store shopping. It's a great how-to guide to find the best items for the best price. Yes, even thrift stores have sales!
Simple Mom write another great article (all of her articles are great) on Thrift Store shopping. You've simply got to be prepared.
A Guide to Flea Market Shopping at bhg.com. My favorite magazine's take on the subject.
So, if you're like me, and you like to buy junk from strangers, check these out and we'll all be "armed and ready!"
