This is what today looks like in central Ohio. We don't have a lot of snow, but it has been REALLY cold. Days of blue skies and sunshine like this are few and far between. So I should be grateful, right? No, I'm just sick of it. Winter is pretty in December, and then I'm ready for spring. Ahhh, spring, the season of new growth and possibilities and garage sales. Beautiful green grass and garage sales. Tulips and daffodils and garage sales. The season when it's finally between 50 and 90 degrees and I can spray paint outside with the full blessings of the good people at Rustoleum.
I'm a realist, so I know that I have a good 3 months before my favorite season arrives. But I can't wait. I won't wait. So I didn't wait.
I painted a flower pot.
This is a birthday gift for my BFF. She is a gardener extraordinaire and she loved it. Now, before you think I'm the greatest BFF ever, I have a confession to make. I gave this gift to my friend last night.
Her birthday was December 21st. Oops. The card was only 2 weeks late, I could mail that.
