You can take them on a BOAT You can feed them to a GOAT...
Oh, yeah, I promised I'd stop that.
I found some great "reinventions" this week that I thought I'd share. As much as I LOVE to brainstorm my own ideas for repurposing stuff, I get positively GIDDY over other people's ideas.
Joys of Home posted about her bookshelves made from old doors. Check this out:

This creative lady also wrote a tutorial to teach us how to make a cute gift bag from a plain brown paper lunch bag.
Just think of the possibilities! Find the tutorial here.Kim, from Forever...Wherever shows us how to make a Seashell Frame from all those shells we pick up at the beach. She's lucky to live at the beach ALL YEAR ROUND, I have to settle for 1 week in July.
How pretty is this?
I hope you find some inspiration! See you all on Monday!

Such great ideas! I have a very hard time coming up with my own ideas. That's why I am so in love with bloggy land! I am a visual person, so to have these beautiful pictures (and tutorials with some) is perfect.
ReplyDeleteThanks for those ideas. They really help me springboard into some ideas for re-purposing stuff I already have. My only problem is that I have several bargains and ideas that are waiting in line to be done....meanwhile I keep going to Goodwill! Help! Linda
ReplyDeleteI am always amazed at how clever some people are. I love all the inspiration and the tutorials. Thanks, Hugs, Marty
ReplyDeleteGreat ideas! That shell frame is so pretty.

I love all the links to more inspiration. Although I find that while the inspiration is endless, my time is not. I get too caught up in looking and never DO anything. Haha!
ReplyDeleteA friend of mine often used old doors laid across hay bales as tables when they entertained outside. It was super cute!
I love that bookshelf, so creative. I've seen things done with old windows too that just blow me away. Happy Sunday!
ReplyDeleteI love the door/bookcase idea. Never have enough bookcases.
ReplyDeleteDon't you love blogging friends - really, I could never come up with any of this stuff on my own!
ReplyDeleteGreat ideas! BTW, I loved your post on headboards. I am needing one REAL bad. I've always wanted to try and make my own tufted headboard, but I'm loving the unfinished door with trim added to the top. Thanks for the wonderful ideas and eye candy!
