Long Winter’s Nap

Just in case you were wondering, I haven’t fallen of the face of the earth.

Where have I been?

Celebrating our Savior’s birth

Giving (my favorite part, really) and receiving fabulous gifts.

Celebrating some more.

Driving “over the river and through the woods…”

Celebrating some more.

Yesterday I went back to work for 12 hours, and last night I slept for 12 hours.

Seriously.  Doesn’t anyone else NEED to do that occasionally?

I hope that you all had a fabulous and Merry Christmas and are planning a New Year celebration that suits you just fine.

Okay, enough with the pleasantries.

Even though I LOVE giving gifts, I can’t help but share what Santa brought me!

Look!

Christmas 2010 052

Yay!  It’s not a fancy model, but just enough to get me (and you, by association) in to ALL SORTS OF DECORATING TROUBLE.

I can’t wait, but I’m keeping my tube of fabric glue, JUST. IN. CASE.

Have a great Tuesday, and remember Trash to Treasure Tuesday starts up again NEXT WEEK!

  1. I got one too! Now I just need to sign up at JoAnn's to figure out how to work it and then I'll let the trouble begin!

  2. Fun! :o)
I too need those days to just take it easy. Sleep in, stay in jammies longer than usual. :o)
The kind of day I am having today ... guilt free even! :o)
Wishing you a happy new year.

  3. Good for you - can't wait to see what you (and me by association) come up with! Really, I can't sew a stitch - my mom can - me, not a stitch. I used to be allowed to cut out the pattern though - does that count? Ha!

    Happy New Year!

  4. Yay!! Looks like you have a lot (more than me) of stitches. :) Do you already know how to sew? If not, just practicing threading it and winding the bobbin is the key thing. If you go for long spurts of time without using it, it's easy to forget. ;)

  9. Welcome back! (you lucky duck!)

You may encourage me to dust mine off. Maybe. No commitments at this time but I have this fabric that needs some sewing. Never mind. How much do you charge? ;)

  10. Oh my what a great gift. I should get mine out more often. I've had it for nearly 30 years and it is still going strong. I have a large stash of fabric too, but also other crafting things that need to be done - ho hum, if only I didn't have to go to work!

  12. I so enjoy your blog...the ideas you come up with on a daily basis is so inspiring! I can't wait to see what great stuff you come up with on your new, fancy sewing machine. I got a new, fancy iron...love it!

I am relatively new to the blogging world but am really enjoying it....I even started my own. It has helped all my family (spread all over the US) stay up to date with the happenings with kiddos, at our home and my little business. I would love for you to check it out!
