Trash to Treasure Tuesday

Hey everybody.  In case you’ve been worrying, the second curtain is done.  Whew.

Some of you may know from the button on my sidebar that I’m going to the Blissdom blogging conference in Nashville this week.  I am beyond excited.  I will be in the presence of the Nester folks!  Well, as long as she lets me…
I can’t wait to meet my bloggy idols, and hope to return with LOTS of stories and knowledge to share.
What does this have to do with Trash to Treasure you might ask?
Nothing, except those two paragraphs are meant to excuse me for not having a project to share this week.  Did it work?

I do have some cool ideas to share that I found on Better Homes and Gardens.  Here goes:

ss_100910237I love this idea, and drawer pulls are pretty plentiful at the flea markets.

ss_100912684  A great old shutter is on my list for this year’s treasure hunting.

ss_BKS047112What a cool way to keep your utensils within easy reach.

ss_100674307Storing wineglasses in the springs of an old chair?  Ummm…not sure I’m sold on this one, but it IS interesting.

What’s on your list for flea market season this year?
Okay, everyone, link up those projects.
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE remember our two simple rules:

  1. Link to your Trash to Treasure post, not your blog home page.
  2. Include a link back to REINVENTED in your post.

  1. I like the shutter in front of the pretty blue wall. Nice inspiration! Not sure I’m sold on the chair coils either, but it is a cool idea.

Have fun at Blissdom, you lucky girl! I’m hosting a little soiree at my blog for those of us who don’t get to go, but still wanted to have a little fun *meeting* other bloggers. :)

  2. Love the ideas. The drawer pulls are awesome, but I am with you on the wine glasses and springs! Have a great time in Nashville. There is a walk that will be taking place…I hope to attend that.

  3. LOVE, LOVE, LOVE the ideas with the drawer pulls!!.. And the wooden shutter? Did you see MINE, on MY most recent post? I’ve got a shutter too!! I think the bedsprings idea is clever, but I don’t think I’ll go that route!! (0; Fun post! ~tina

  4. That is great that you are going to Blissdom- I wish I could but cannot get away for the whole weekend. Hopefully next year they will do some daily seminars for those of us in driving distance! Thanks for hosting the party again this week! :D

  5. Yes, yes, have fun at Blissdom and come back with lots of stories for us!
I love that drawers pulls idea – I actually think I have a little bag full of drawer pulls that came off of some piece of furniture I redid.

  6. Ok, the glasses in the bedsprings would throw my OCD completely out of whack, and scare me to death anytime someone walked by! But I love the other ideas!!

  7. I love the drawer pulls too. i just bought 2 good sized shutters at goodwill yesterday for $2.50 each. I seem to have a mini collection of those things. I can’t turn away.
