Hello fabulous Reinvented fans, Jane here from Finding Fabulous! That’s me above with kid 1 & 2 who are just the very center of my universe! Okay, I’m pretty fond of the white furry guy too. I’m so excited to be guest hosting here at Reinvented! Kimm is so fun and I just love all of her thrifty design ideas for…real people with real stuff and real budgets!
Well my blog Finding Fabulous pretty much describes itself. I’m all about finding fabulous design…for less, on a budget, and without breakin’ the bank! Yup, no need to spend a ton of money if you’re looking to spruce up your home. Here’s a peek at some of my past thrifty projects.
These cute birdies I snagged from the dollar store! They were peach colored and b-o-r-i-n-g. I glazed em’ up with watered down craft paint in the color burnt umber, and created some authentically shabby birds…on the cheap!
I love finding ways to accessorise my home…for less! These old books I picked up from various thrift stores for around 25 cents. I added a white star fish and these shelves have some fun style…on the cheap!
This is my twine wrapped wine bottle. I got this idea from the Thrifty Decor Chic…isn’t she fabulous? I made mine a bit different by using a large wine bottle as the base. Yup, decorating with items from your recycling bin…love that!
Finally, I created super thrifty wall art by framing tee towels! Yup, I snagged these babies on clearance from Target and thought…why not frame them as art. I clearly don’t follow all the decorating rules.
Okay, so there you have it, Finding Fabulous in a nutshell! I hope you like my projects and feel inspired to go revamp something in your home! It doesn’t take a lot of money, or even any talent, just a “think outside the box” mindset, and a little creativity.
Oh and be sure to check out Frugalicious Friday tomorrow, and we’ve got a fun giveaway too! This day’s all about sharing your fabulous, thriftiest, most frugalicious home decor finds and design projects…so link up and give us the scoop on how you $ave!
Thanks again Kimm for allowing me to guest host today. I gotta tell ya, your thrifty ideas have inspired me from the very beginning…thanks for the inspiration!
