Looking for an easy weekend project?
Need a break from cleaning out your closets?
Turn your child’s treasured but too small t-shirts into a chic scarf!
Make one for yourself too! Come one, admit it, you’ve saved some treasured old T’s of yours too.
If you’re not into scarves, then make a pillow full of memories.
It’s going to rain ALL weekend here in Ohio, so some serious cleaning and a little fun sewing might be just the thing. Have fun!

The scarf is super (I've done something similar with the sleeves of old sweaters), but this idea is top shelf! And that's a new take on the buttoned t-shirt pillow. Fun projects!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous idea!! I almost inspired to clean out the dreaded closets of 3 fashion divas!! Thanks for the idea
ReplyDeleteVery neat idea! I am attached to all my boys' tops and hate getting rid of them, this is a great way to keep them!
ReplyDeleteThanks!

great ideas! i saved back t-shirts from my highschool years, thinking I'd have my mother make them into a quilt someday. 20 years later, i've realized that's never going to happen. i haven't thought about that box of t shirts in years, but i was reminded of it tonight!
ReplyDeleteHaha! Have you been looking in my dresser drawers? I have t-shirts that I just refuse to give up - this are AWESOME ideas.
ReplyDeleteThose are too cute! I have a friend that did a memory quilt out of her old sorority t-shirts!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE LOVE LOVE this idea! My son has some super COOL graphic t's that he's outgrown but I'm NOT the best sewer. HMMMMmm...
ReplyDeleteThese are so cute! We've been doing some serious decluttering lately, so our old t-shirt piles are really growing. What great new uses!
