Every year I cut, clip, bookmark, or otherwise hoard a stack of Christmas craft ideas. My kids, even at their advanced ages of 18, 15, 13 and 10, still like to have a craft party with mom.
I’m pretty sure it’s because I tempt them with cookies, but whatever.
Here are a few of my faves this year.
Chalkboard ornaments from Clean and Scentsible. These will be perfect on my all black and white tree in my den that will be black and cream as soon as I paint the walls cream and the armoire black…
This painting is happening tomorrow, and NO I have not bit off more than I can chew during the holiday season. This is how I roll. Just don’t call me tomorrow, k?
Sheet music ornaments from Love Grows Wild. Also for the black and cream tree in the black and cream room that still exists in my imagination. Stay with me.
I am definitely making this, from Cleverly Inspired. A live holly wreath made with an old picture frame. I love the nontraditional rectangular wreath idea. Mine will probably be made from boxwood because that’s what I have, and I’ll add my favorite red with a ribbon.
(Just in case you’re wondering, the two wreaths count as ONE craft. I haven’t lost my ability to count to 5)
I liked this one so much I pinned it twice.
From Flea Market Style.
One last Christmas craft I heart is these snowflake chargers from Shanty2Chic.
But then, I big puffy heart everything those talented sisters do.
If I wasn’t so mature, I’d be jealous.
