Good morning all! Today is one of my favorite days in the blogosphere. It’s Melissa’s My Favorite Things party at 320 Sycamore.
I enjoy this party so much. There is great variety in the links, and lots of new friends to make. Every year, I find at least a few new favorites. So here goes, my “favorite” list:
I’ll warn you, it’s a little random, but that’s what makes this party fun.
First up (and these are in no particular order) is my new Ford Explorer. I finally graduated from a mini-van last spring and I love. this. car. Mine is red, of course. It seats 7, and is fun to drive. (Ford did not pay me to say that, but if they want to, I’m all ears.)
To totally change the subject, next up is my chocolate brown ruffled scarf from The Pleated Poppy. Lindsey makes beautiful scarves. They are soft and just the right length for experimenting. The one on the right is the infinity scarf.
Look out, I’m changing subjects like Katie Perry changes hair color. I warned you this would be random.
Speaking of hair, I’m truly not sure how I survived before I found Paul Mitchell’s Super Skinny Serum. I have that kind of hair that is always frizzy, and on humid days, OMG. It grows before my eyes. This stuff is a
life sanity hair saver.
Next up is a new favorite of mine. Origami Owl living lockets are beautiful, fun, and personalized. This is the perfect jewelry to wear, and to give, and the story behind the company is amazing. We’ll be talking more about Origami Owl soon.
Last, but not least is my Lancome foundation. As my skin becomes “more mature”, I’ve needed more coverage, but I still have a little of the oilies, so I needed something oil free and long lasting too. I was on quite a long search until I found Lancome’s Teint Idole Ultra 24H. It’s perfect. Nuff said.
This is so fun, but I’ll end my list here. What are some of your favorites? Are you “going” to the party? See you there!
