S.N.O.W.? Seriously??? On Holy Week???
Sorry, just had to vent first.
Last week I received a box of beauty on my front porch.
A sample case of the Ball Heritage Collection Pint jars. In my 2nd favorite that is threatening to take over my first favorite color.
Aren’t they adorable? These jars are a limited edition collection to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Ball Brothers Perfect Mason Jar, created in 1913 in Muncie, Indiana. I have such great
nightmares memories of gardening, canning and freezing summer fruits and vegetables when I was a kid. My mom canned stuff like chili sauce (yuck), and pickles (yum).
I don’t think I’ll be using these beauties to preserve my summer bounty (I’m pretty sure summer is never coming, see line #1), but…
I found some great DIY/craft ideas, though, on my friend Donna’s blog, Funky Junk Interiors.
There is nothing prettier than aqua ball jars on a window sill filled with summer flowers.
Or filled with flatware for a picnic.
If summer never does show up, I can plant my herb garden on a wall.
A ball jar chandy, complete with Christmas lights. Swooning happening here.
Have any Ball jar projects to share? I’d love to hear about them, leave a link in the comments and have a great day!
Small Print: I received a set of Ball jar beauties in exchange for a review. All opinions are my own. If you’d like more information about this commemorative collection, please go here.
