Master Bath Progress And A Giveaway!

Hello friends!

Did you have a great weekend?  Mine was productive, which means great, in my book.  I could use a three day nap, but it’s back to the day job I went.

So I got the master bathroom painted.  The walls are a beautiful shade of blue called “Rain” by Sherwin Williams.  It was one of their Pottery Barn colors for Fall 2013 and closely matches my Porcelain Blue duvet cover.

I never said I cleaned up, just that I’m done painting.  Ahem.

This afternoon I cleaned up.  And hung my garage sale paintings back on the wall, cuz they are definitely staying.

Part of me, a big part, wishes I could buy a cool new vanity.  But I can’t.  So I bought cool new vintage looking knobs.  They are 50% off at Hobby Lobby this week.

I really like 50% off at Hobby Lobby, don’t you?

I scrubbed these cabinets, I swear.

So far, I’ve spent $30 on paint (the 40% off sale at SW is another favorite), and $14 on knobs.

My plan is to add some rustic texture to the room with bamboo blinds and some flea market find storage.

Which brings me to this…

How would you like to win a copy of Lara Spencer’s new book, Flea Market Fabulous??

You’re in luck, because I ordered one JUST FOR YOU, and it arrived today!

Please leave me a comment to enter, and tell me what your favorite flea market find EVA is.

If you’d really like to help a girl out, and share these giveaway post on Twitter, Facebook and/or Pinterest, I would love you FOREVER, AND give you another entry for each share.

Thanks friends!  Have a great evening!

  1. Salutations my friend,
I love the “Rain” color you chose for the bathroom, and the painting on the wall is beautiful. Sort of nautical!

My great find was a 1 ft long white cross that is 100 years old. It’s made out of reclaimed wood from a 100 year old school that was being renovated here in St. Augustine, Florida. I bought it for $4.00 at a garage sale. Obviously the owners had no clue or even any appreciation for vintage. I love that cross!

  2. It is a wooden box with a hinged lid and latch that I painted black with a stenciled star. I paid 2.00 for it and it sits by our back door. It is a perfect stashaway for tools and stuff.
