Hello there! Thank you so much for stopping by.
I love gifting my sweet friends with handmade Valentine’s Day treats.
Last year, I gave them cupcakes.
This year will be especially meaningful, cuz…
I totally dropped the ball on Christmas gifts for my lovelies. Ugh.
I’m planning to achieve redemption on the day of love, so at the risk of ruining the surprises, I thought I’d share a quick and easy Valentine’s Day gift idea
(there are affiliate links in this post. If you’d like to complete this project and purchase supplies through my links, I earn a tiny commission. thanks).
I really love the look of painted glass, and when I spied the cute little bowls that my friend Leslie, at House On The Way, had painted gold to use for jewelry storage, I knew that I wanted to try it.
I found these pretty little bowls at the Dollar Tree. They were four for a dollar.
I turned them over and gave the underside a couple of coats of Krylon Metallic Gold Spray Paint.
Painting the underside keeps the paint away from the jewelry so it doesn’t scratch.
Leslie is a genius.
I like them with candy too. Of course there’s not too many things I wouldn’t eat candy out of…
They’d be cute with a tiny succulent planted inside.
This year I might give them with my “famous” cupcakes.
After my Christmas blunder, I’ve got to buy some love. ;)
