I have been a busy beaver painting and painting and painting our foyer/stairwell/hallways.
Remember when we talked about that last week? Catch up with my tongue in cheek “advice” for painting large spaces with many walls.
I thought I’d update you today. Most of the foyer is done and it is SO MUCH BRIGHTER!
Sigh. I love what a fresh coat of paint does for a space. And when the paint is light and bright Linen White, it’s simply amazing.
Here’s a before shot. From Christmas 2014. The former color is even yellower and darker than this looks.
And here’s the same spot with Linen White on the walls.
AND…the stripes changed to my new second favorite color, Cracked Pepper from Behr.
AND…my Scrap Wood and Spoon Sconces finally found their forever home!
AND… a welcome sign I had in my stash filling up the space between the table and the shelf.
That space has bugged me for AWHILE.
I’m loving the spring colors added with books and mason jars, with the bold dark gray and linen white contrast.
Not sure how I feel about votives on the shelf, I’ll either add more, because two clearly isn’t right, or I may change that up.
I still have a tiny first floor hallway, the stairwell and the upstairs hallway to paint. One wall at a time!
Have a great week!
