I have a question for you:
What comes to mind when you hear the word “CURVY”?
I usually think of girls. Curvy is kind of a girly word.
Or jeans. A curvy fit means a small waist and girly hips.
They don’t fit me. I need the fit for the post four kids waist and the I eat too much ice cream hips.
When I asked the engineer what came to his mind when I said the word curvy, he said geometry.
Anywhoo…what do you think of CURVY shelves? Curvy painted shelves?
A few weeks ago I found some curvy shelves.
You would have bought them too, right? So cute and curvy.
I painted them my favorite color, Maison Blanche in Oyster, and distressed just a little with a rag dipped in a vinegar and water mixture.
I can’t seem to take any photos inside the house right now, it’s just too dark. The family acts a little skittish when they see me coming with the camera, I guess I’ve asked for help carrying furniture outside one too many times.
I’m using a little antiquing wax on this piece, but that part isn’t quite done. (I’m nothin’ if I ain’t honest…)
This piece is the very start of a collection that I will be selling at a few vintage sales this late summer and fall. I am so excited.
Thank you so much for stopping by!
If you LOVE painted furniture like I do, check out my new PROJECT GALLERY. There are several fun projects all on one page, just click on the photos for details!
