I am here today to prove to you, once and for all, that you can transform anything from not yo style, into just my style.
Enter a golden oak solid wood mirror. With aged brass hooks on each side. A really solid and beautiful piece, just not my style.
Along comes to the rescue, a quart of my favorite vintage paint, a piece of sand paper, some furniture wax, and a can of ORB spray paint.
Meet my new farmhouse rustic painted mirror! Here she is all dressed up for you.
This mirror is hanging in the short hall between the kitchen and the mudroom. You know, so I can check myself out on the way out the door. ;)
From Amish Oak orangey wood mirror from the 1990’s, to light and bright yet rustic farmhouse style.
To think I thought she couldn’t be saved…
So let’s talk, what’s the easiest transformation you’ve ever pulled off with paint?
Thank you so much for visiting today!
