I am excited today to be joining the Procrastinators Summer Porch Tour with Kathy from Petticoat Junktion.
Kathy is a favorite, and PROCRASTINATION is one of my thangs so this tour is a perfect fit! ;)
I’m sharing my front porch tour today. It’s a tiny space, so the tour will be short, but there are some fun DIY projects out there that will hopefully inspire you.
Let’s start, shall we? Welcome to my front porch!
It may be a tiny space, with just enough room for a couple of rocking chairs, but we want our front porch guests and “inside the house” guests to feel welcome, so we hung our greeting for all to see. For the DIY painted Welcome Sign Tutorial, click there.
Between the rockers complete with pillows featuring my favorite colors, there is just enough space for a small table to hold refreshments while we rock the evenings away.
That table may be tiny, but it can hold a Scrabble board and lots of competitive fire in a pinch. Click here for the table tutorial.
To the left of this area is the front door. Monogrammed, of course, so that friends can find us. ;)
Seriously, though, my kids tell their friends it’s the house with the “B”.
If I try to hang something else, the complaints come rolling in…
And that’s it! I sometimes wish I had one of those huge wrap around front porches. But then I’d have to sweep it…
P.S. Our back porch is a work in progress, but if you’d like to check out what we’ve accomplished so far, check out these posts (click on the photo for the details).
Thank you so much for visiting! Be sure to check out ALL OF THE AMAZING FRONT PORCHES linked up below!
Have an awesome weekend!
