I’m sure that you’ve noticed that I’m posting five Friday favorite quick and easy fall crafts on Saturday…
I have no excuse, except that working 24 hours in two days in the ER is HARD. I love it, and I’m so excited to have more time to spend with all of you, but I’m still a part-time ER nurse, and sometimes it kicks. my. butt.
Anyway, I slept in this morning, and the engineer and the genius made me some amazing french toast and served it to me in bed, so it’s all better.
Let’s talk quick and easy fall crafts. Like, my favorite kind of crafts ever.
No matter what fun plans you have for this long holiday weekend, (and I’m talking the holiday that is the first weekend of the college football season, GO BUCKS!), you’ve got time for one of these fun ideas.
First up are these pumpkins from my sweet friend, Larissa, at Prodigal Pieces. This girl can rock a junk pile like NO OTHER.
I think I was channeling Larissa when I created my vintage wood spool pumpkins this week.
Have a Labor Day weekend coupon for your favorite craft store? Use it to buy some foam pumpkins and sharpies, like these from Design Dazzle.
I think I’ll break out my metallic sharpies and draw on pumpkins like I draw on my wall art plates.
You all know how I feel about polka dots, so when I saw these fun tile trivets on Create and Babble, I gasped out loud!
This gorgeous fall wreath from Raising Up Rubies is amazing and you won’t believe what it is made out of!
A thrift store frame would work perfectly also.
And last but not least, is a favorite of mine from last fall. As much as I love colorful leaves and bringing nature indoors, I wanted fall color before mother nature had delivered. So I made leaves out of fabric and scrapbook paper.
This was a perfectly free fall centerpiece.
