Fall Mantel, Finally

Hi friends!  Welcome to Reinvented, thank you so much for visiting.

I FINALLY finished my fall mantel, and I’m pretty sure I’m the last. person. on. earth.  ;)

I’ve been drooling over the flood of fall home tours in blogland, and finally had the inspiration and the time to add some autumn warmth to our house.

As always, I started with my easy base.  Having a base look that works all year round makes adding seasonal touches quick and almost effortless.

Easy Mantel Updates

Of course, it it was actually effortless, it would have been done earlier, am I right?  ;)

Anywhoo, here’s our fall mantel for this year.

Fall Mantel

I reused the FALL banner that hung on the fireplace last year, moving it up to the window.

One of my favorite additions is this seasonal wreath on the striped board, hung with a rustic burlap ribbon.  The books were swapped for covers with warmer colors for fall.

This year I added some simple fall decor to the shelves flanking the fireplace, adding to our focal wall.

Love a simple fall look that doesn’t break your budget?  I’d love it if you’d share!

I’m tackling the dining room table next, but the mess must be cleared off first!  Wish me luck!

  1. Hi, Kimm ~ Your mantle looks great! And I think I’m the last person on earth to finish decorating for fall. :0) I’m still tweaking things! I love that square wreath against the black and white stripes! And your fall banner is awesome. I also love that clipboard. Is that a cutting board turned clipboard? I love the handle!

    1. Thank you Tiffany! I think I am always tweaking too. That’s the fun of being decor obsessed! ;) Yes, the clipboard is a cutting board with clip added.
