Hello my darlings! My shopping is almost done!! How about you? Today I completed the first round of wrapping, and thought I’d share my easy gift wrap ideas.
I am not a fancy wrapper, hence the “lazy girls” part of the post title. ;) I prefer simple patterns like those above, and try to stick to a color scheme every year.
And I don’t like bows; they are impossible to tie, and they get squished when you pack them in the car for travel.
I order these paper “ribbons” from an Etsy shop called PaperJacks. They are patterned strips of paper that make the perfect flat, nonsquishable accent for packages.
Clearly I’m a genius with the tape application. ;)
I love mixing patterns, just like pillows on a sofa.
PaperJacks also sells adhesive tags; they are perfect for holding the ribbon in place.
Or I can write on the black ribbon with a chalk marker.
Easy peasy, pretty, and practical.
And they look pretty great under the tree.
However you choose to approach the gift wrapping process, don’t stress yourself, and have fun with it!
