Valentine’s Day Mantel Decor

Hello my friends.  I have been having such fun playing with my faux galvanized metal wreath and adding some Valentine’s Day touches.   Let’s get to the Valentine’s Day mantel decor, shall we?

I changed up just a few details to ad some love.  ;)  The banner/garland (which one is it?) is from the Target Dollar Spot.

A couple of chalkboard heart and a touch of red are fun and simple additions to the wreath.

A couple of red books and some faux peonies in my wine bottle carrier finish the look.

That was quick, wasn’t it?  My favorite kind of decorating.  :)

  1. That’s a pretty cute wreath. Are you a galvanized nut as i am? Love how you put that all together on your mantel.
Seems I go for galvanized things so much more than I ever did. Hubs asks me why I keep buying galvanized trays for example. Gotta love ’em. Whenever I find something galvanized it’s usually at Michaels on sale so I HAVE to have it don’t I? Got a new round one little deeper at Hobby Lobby 1/2 off the other day. Think I might put handles on either side, maybe.
I had the hardest time deciding what to spend my money on, they had so many wonderful choices for 1/2 off or more. Hubs was very surprised I came out of there for less than $20. Had to keep asking myself now do I really need that? Wish my conscience would let me alone when there are so many awesome goodies on sale, drat.
    Have great rest of week.

  2. I like your textural pieces (the wicker and wood) and the rustic element of the faux galvanized metal. This is a really nice mantel if you don’t want to go all red/pink/feminine for Valentine décor. Nice job!

    1. Thank you so much Carol! I don’t decorate much with pink and red, though I do love them. :) Happy early Valentine’s Day to you and yours!

  3. Thanks for linking up at my Valentine’s Day celebration. Your mantle is so lovely and I hope you had a very Happy Valentine’s Day. If you haven’t already, feel free to stop by again and link up your favorite wreath project this week at my Waste Not Wednesday Week 38 link party.
