Hello my sweet friends! Happy Friday!! I am so excited for this weekend. I am taking my daughter to Nashville to visit Vanderbilt University. My youngest son is going also, so it will be a three “man” road trip. Before we go, however, I couldn’t forget about five minute Friday, and this fun take on a DIY spring wreath.
During the holidays last year, I hung a lovely live frazier fir wreath on our pantry door, and found that I LOVED having a little seasonal decor in that spot.
Now that it’s time for spring, I wanted to create something new, so I painted this flat wood “frame” from Michael’s in my favorite Heirloom White, and made a sweet little banner out of scrapbook paper.
I bought plain paper and added the polka dots with a chalk marker. I “stated the obvious” with a turquoise marker attached my banner to the frame with a little string and some tiny clothespins, and I was done.
I decided to hang the frame a little wonky, cuz, you know, it fit in better with our family that way. ;)
I’m loving this little reminder of spring on our dark gray pantry door.
