Happy Friday friends! Thank you so much for spending a few minutes of your Friday with me. It’s time for five minute Friday, and today I have a quick and easy craft for spring to share.
This tiny, five minute art was created with a wood plaque from the clearance aisle at Target. I added a base coat of Martha Stewart Vintage Decor Paint in linen (one of my five irresistible paint colors for spring shared this week). When the base coat was dry, I added some antiquing wax to age it just a bit.
The flower is lightly stenciled with turquoise craft paint. I applied the paint with a nearly dry brush to get a worn look.
I painted the stem by hand with a pretty green, and then added the letters in black. Let me tell you, those darn letters took me three tries. I had such a difficult time centering them. (insert sheepish grin here)
I can’t count drying time in my five minute limit, but the painting was really quick and easy.
Love this craft project? I’d be so grateful if you pinned it! And if you followed me on Pinterest here. :)
You probably noticed that I have added some new social share icons, at the bottom of each post, and hovering at the bottom of your screen to make it easier for you to share your favorite DIY projects, crafts, and decor ideas. Thank you so much!!
