Hello my friends. It’s the first Monday of the month, and time to talk goals at Sweet Tea LLC’s Blogging With Intention series. I’m still feeling kind of whiny and overwhelmed, so this should be fun. ;)
So…my March goals were to create and send out my first Reinvented Review newsletter, and to complete the Simple Pin Media Master Course.
I still haven’t sent out the newsletter, damn it. Now I’m shooting for May 1. I’ve decided to change e-mail platforms from Mailchimp to Convert Kit, so that is slowing me down. Convert Kit will be better for me going forward, with two blogs, but I’m starting over with a new learning curve. I promise the first newsletter will be worth the wait! :)
I am ALMOST done with the Simple Pin Course and I highly recommend it if you are looking to learn more about Pinterest.
So this is where the grace part of the post title comes in to play. I am really trying to grant myself some as I try to find work/blog/family/life balance. Right now, I’m not doing a good job of any of those things, but I’m still trying.
I did have a really great Lenten season, and worked hard to grow closer to God and deepen my faith. I am reading the book, Jesus Calling, and my morning devotional time has become non-negotiable, so that’s definitely progress. I also downloaded the First 5 app from Proverbs 31 ministries (highly recommend!), and am deep in to the study of Leviticus and Hebrews. The premise of First 5 is to give God the first 5 minutes of your day. We read a chapter a day and there is a lesson from the fabulous ladies at Proverbs 31. So I’m doing well in the faith department, and isn’t that the most important part anyway? :)
So, What are my April goals?
- That darn newsletter will get published, I’m planning for May 1.
- Launch new logos for both blogs, I am working with the fabulous Bre, from Brepurposed on this one!
- Complete Tailwind tutorials.
- Revise old posts for Pinterest.
That’s it. I will do my best. My passion is making Reinvented and RoadKill Rescue places that you all love and want to hang out, so that is and will always be my motivation and why I love this job so much!
Thank you so much for visiting and sharing!!
