Hello my friends! I’ve been fiddling with my mantel again, and adding more color now that it’s officially spring. (check out my early spring “I can’t stand winter any longer” mantel here) Today’s quick and easy spring mantel updates would be perfect for Five Minute Friday, but this Friday I am participating in a BEST OF FARMHOUSE FRIENDS blog hop (do. not. miss. this), so we’re having five minute Wednesday instead. ;)
I love to start my mantel styling by adding seasonal color with books. The colorful volumes also add much needed height and achieve the layered look I love so much.
I chose a combo of aqua, navy and gold for spring. Those colors have my heart right now; more info. on that to come!!
I left the peonies in my faux galvanzied metal wreath, and added a pretty blue butterfly for more color. Have you noticed that butterflies are HUGE right now? Check out this amazing sewing cabinet featured over at RoadKill Rescue!
A potted plant adds life to any spot, and this one does really well with indirect sun, so that’s perfect.
Need MORE spring mantel ideas? You’ll LOVE these!
Thank you so much for stopping by!! Have a GREAT day!!
