Hey guys! Quite a few of you have shared with me that your biggest decorating dilemma involves storing toys in family or adult spaces. I get it. When we’re in the “raising littles” season of life, family rooms must function as TV room, gathering space, and playroom; so stylish storage options for toys are a must.
I’ve found some great ideas for you that are budget friendly, and many can easily be customized to fit your style.

These canvas bins come in lots of colors, so it’s likely you can find some in your favorite. Of course I’m partial to the neutrals. I think these would be fabulous with shipping crate style numbers painted on them, like my farmhouse TV tray tables. Or little chalkboard labels.
A set of unfinished wood crates can be personalized for any color scheme and are easily labeled to make toy pick up easy. For farmhouse style, stain a crate and paint on a chalkboard label.
I used printer paper boxes, covered in canvas drop cloth fabric for storage in our mudroom, and they would work equally well for toys. Attach a framed chalkboard with hot glue to label the contents. Get the details here.
If you’re not up for a DIY project, this striped and polka dotted option is adorable. It’s neutral and stylish enough for a family space.
I hope that these options have inspired you to solve your toy clutter problems with some stylish storage!
