Trash to Treasure: Thrift Store Cutting Board

Hey all!  I got a little off my posting schedule for a week, life has been crazy!  I’m planning an LIFE LATELY update for tomorrow, so come back for all of the details!  Tonight I am thrilled to share a trash to treasure transformation from Holly, at Pink Fortitude, a frequently featured blogger over at RoadKill Rescue.  I am so excited to welcome Holly to Reinvented!

Holly found this piece while out antiquing with her hubby.  It’s a knife storage box with a cutting board inside.  Or a cutting board with knife storage inside.

Hold on just a minute…Holly’s husband goes ANTIQUING with her??  I would love to go antiquing with my engineer… I can picture us strolling hand in hand, finding treasures…wait…

Never mind.

Let’s get back to the transformation.  Holly painted and distressed this box beautifully.  I love me some old wood and chippy white paint.

    1. Thanks Michelle! I have never tried coconut oil on a cutting board either, so I’m excited to try. Have a great day, my friend!
