Rusty Leaves and a Fall Mantel

Hey guys!  Are you loving September so far?  It has been a little warm for me, I’m so ready for cooler weather.  I’m a little behind on fall decorating, but it’s not too late to show you my fall mantel, is it?  Maybe it’s too late to talk fall mantels when it’s time to talk Christmas mantels, but I’m not THAT late, no matter what Hobby Lobby says.

I kept the look pretty neutral this year, except for that cute striped yarn pumpkin I found at the Country Living Fair, and a mason jar full of branches from our yard.

Those fantastic rusty metal leaves are also from the CL Fair, aren’t they awesome?

My friends, this is going to be a fun week!  Tuesday I am guest posting over at The Weathered Fox, and I’m already quivering with excitement!  I can’t wait for you to see the project, my 19 year old said “that’s your best one yet”, so that’s cool.  :)

Wanna check out our fall mantel over the years?

  1. I love the mantle, I don’t have one so I love seeing them all done up. Yes, those leaves are fantastic, as is that lovely window! And I won’t mention that black fireplace, oh my gosh it’s beautiful! I finally have shelves up in my living room so I’ll just have to decorate them for the seasons as my faux mantle LOL

So excited for your guest post at The Weathered Fox, I’me heading over to look for it now!

    1. Me too Debra! I am doing my best to slow down a bit and enjoy each season, instead of diving in to planning the next. :) Enjoy the rest of your weekend!
