Hey friends, Happy Monday! We are officially down to less than two weeks until Christmas! Are you ready? We are hosting my side of the family next weekend, so I have that much shopping done, and yesterday I finally got the scrap wood pumpkins off of the front porch and added some easy Christmas porch decor. Wanna see?
Easy Christmas Porch Ideas
Our old wood ladder Christmas tree fits perfectly in to the corner by the front door. If you love a rustic look too, a weathered sign would look great by the front door, or an urn full of greens and branches.
The galvanized bucket planter that once held summer flowers and fall mums is perfect for some faux greens and berries. I just stuck them in there on top of the frozen dirt. ;)
This plaid fabric kind of looks like a cozy blanket, doesn’t it? I needed something soft to balance out the wood and metal.
For the front door I decorated a plain wreath with a felt ball garland and a few snowflake ornaments. Nothing is permanently attached, so I can take it apart easily.
My tips for easy Christmas porch decor:
- Use what you have: flower pots, buckets and chairs can be changed up for the seasons.
- Add a blanket or a piece of scrap fabric to add a little softness.
- For a rustic look, add some wood in the form of a tree, a sign, or a sled.
What is your favorite piece on your porch this season? Tell me in the comments, I’d love to hear about it!
