Painted furniture projects are some of the most satisfying DIY’s for good reasons. Paint completely transforms dated pieces, those updated pieces transform rooms. I’ve had the “itch” lately to paint our dated orangey oak dressers, and while I haven’t yet pulled the
paintbrush trigger, I’ve done plenty of research and a little reminiscing. If you’re thinking about taking on a painted furniture project, hopefully a few of my favorites will inspire you to get started.

This antique cabinet sports a pop of cool aqua, and I still dig the color. I used Maison Blanche Vintage Furniture Paint in Riviera (similar here) and it’s still a favorite piece.
